Following our July conversation. Two ways El Tiempo Latino can put Events DC in front of Latino Washington: a full season of Lo Nuestro, our showcase of the places this community loves, or a mix that adds our weekly events franchise and Branded Video Reels on the events Events DC is putting on.
Prepared for Bruce Walker, Shayne Wells and Bianca Lugo Lewis · Events DC
The Latino community is one of the largest audiences for everything Events DC puts on, and it decides where to go, what to eat and what to show up for in Spanish. Food, music, dance and neighborhood culture are its main subject matter, and what it recommends travels by word of mouth inside the language.
El Tiempo Latino has been the Spanish-language record of this city since 1991. When something opens, sells out, or is worth the trip, this is where the community reads about it.
Your team raised two different needs in the July conversation. They do not have the same answer, and this document does not pretend they do.
The first option below answers the first need completely. The second splits the same budget across both.
Three things El Tiempo Latino already runs, any of which Events DC can put its name on.
A showcase of the places this community goes to eat, celebrate and unwind. Each episode walks into one of them and lets the owner talk about it: the food, the music, the room, why people keep coming back. It runs in Spanish on Instagram and Facebook, guest creators the community already follows join some episodes, and every one lands in El Tiempo Latino Daily.
What it looks like on screen. Events DC's logo sits on the episode card and the credit runs at the top of the caption, in the same place on every episode of the season. The newsletter placement carries the same credit, and the season page collects every episode under it. The episode itself runs uninterrupted. Sponsorship sits alongside the storytelling, never inside it, and Events DC is recognized as the sponsor who made the season possible.
Beyond the credit, Events DC gets a message of its own. Every episode closes on a card carrying the Events DC logo and one line of Events DC copy, up to twelve words, in a template we build once and reuse all season. Each newsletter placement carries a sponsor block of up to forty words and one link. The season page carries the same message as a panel. Events DC writes the copy, or we draft it for approval.

Viewers ask for addresses, tag their families and report visiting the same week.
Our weekly events franchise, hosted by Rafael Ulloa: what is happening in the city this week and why to go. It reaches the Latino families, culture lovers and nightlife crowd who open it looking for something to do. A slot mention puts one Events DC event in first position for that week, across all three surfaces:
The agenda has the highest forward rate of anything we publish organically. People send the week's plans to each other, which is how an event travels past the people who saw the post.
A full video we produce with Events DC, told as a story rather than an announcement. It runs as a reel across our channels with audience extension behind it, lands in the newsletter, and Events DC keeps the finished file for its own channels. Each one can take any of three subjects:
This is the format we run for the arenas in this city when they need Latino Washington to show up on a specific date.
Campaign figures are totals across each campaign's full run, including audience extension beyond our owned audience.
Every piece runs across all of it: published organically on social, featured in the newsletter, collected on the site, and backed by audience extension on the piece itself.
We reach Latino Washington by geography and by interest, based on what people actually interact with: local food, music, culture and things to do. That is what lets a flight concentrate on the District, or widen to the suburbs an event draws from, and it is set with Events DC before anything runs. From there the campaign leverages audience extension, built on our own first-party newsletter data and Lookalike Audiences, to reach the goals and optimize performance.
Delivery by piece and by platform, plus the comment record. Reported within seven days of a flight closing, with an interim readout at the halfway point of a full season. Events DC's digital team receives every asset on publication, in the formats it needs.
Same investment either way. Both run as advertising across El Tiempo Latino's channels. One is all Lo Nuestro across a full season. The other is a mix of all three offerings inside a shorter flight. Prices are firm for the scopes described, and we can build a custom package around any priority.
Temporada buys three months of continuous presence next to the places this community loves, and the highest volume. Distrito delivers most of that volume and spends the difference on production and on promotion tied to specific dates: four Events DC events in first position, each with its own page, plus two videos made on location that Events DC keeps.
Both carry rate protection: these rates are held for any repeat of the same scope booked within twelve months of signature. Availability of a future Lo Nuestro season is confirmed separately.
October through December is the strongest window for either option, and the one we would build toward.
| To open in | Signature needed by | Note |
|---|---|---|
| October | October 1 | Signing on the first day of FY27 opens the season in the second half of October. Production begins on signature; on-location filming needs fifteen days. |
| November | October 16 | A season opening in November closes in January. This is the latest start we hold for the fall season. |
| Term | Detail |
|---|---|
| Category | An advertising and content placement program on El Tiempo Latino's channels, invoiced as media. |
| Contracting entity | MasTV / El Planeta LLC, publisher of El Tiempo Latino. W-9 provided on request. |
| Payment | Invoiced in full at the start of the program, net 30 from receipt. |
| Editorial independence | El Tiempo Latino keeps full control of which places are featured in Lo Nuestro and how their stories are told. Events DC may put places forward at any point and those suggestions are weighed like any other, with no commitment to feature any of them. Branded video is different: it is made with Events DC, on subjects Events DC chooses, and labeled as paid. |
| Sponsor message | Events DC supplies the copy, or El Tiempo Latino drafts it for approval. It runs in Events DC's voice, in the sponsor positions listed, and never inside an episode's story. Like all branded content, it is labeled as paid. |
| Guaranteed delivery | Guaranteed figures are digital impressions, measured in Meta Ads Manager together with our newsletter and site analytics, and reported in full. Any shortfall against a guaranteed figure is fulfilled with additional delivery at no cost to Events DC. |
| What is not committed | Delivery is committed as impressions and as the units listed. Event attendance and ticket sales are not committed. |
| Approvals | Two consolidated rounds of feedback per deliverable, with review windows set at kickoff to match Events DC's approval calendar. Further rounds are accommodated and may shift the production schedule. |
| Republishing rights | Events DC may republish any piece carrying its credit on its own owned channels, during the flight and after it closes. Branded video files are delivered to Events DC on publication. |
| Releases and disclosures | El Tiempo Latino obtains signed appearance releases from every owner and participant featured. Required disclosure lines are placed as Events DC specifies on any asset carrying its name, and all branded content is clearly labeled as paid. |
| Available separately | Print placements and print branded articles in the Friday edition. On-site content capture at events beyond the (2) Branded Video Reels included in Distrito. Spanish landing page build and hosting. Additional branded video beyond the counts above. Each is quoted separately on request. |
| Supplier diversity | Tiempo Company is a Latino-owned media company. Certification documentation is available on request. |
| Validity | This proposal is valid for 90 days from the date of issue. El Tiempo Latino asks that pricing be treated as commercially confidential, subject to any disclosure Events DC is required to make by law. |
Scope and delivery figures are confirmed in writing before anything is booked. Production begins on signature.
