2027 BOSTON EXPANSION
ROOM TO GROW

Bring the JPMorganChase and El Planeta relationship back for Massachusetts' 937,000+ Latino residents. A standalone offer, priced and delivered independently of the DMV renewal.

Prepared for Justin Page · JPMorganChase

01The Opportunity

Massachusetts is home to 937,000+ Latino residents, 13.3% of the state and growing, concentrated in Greater Boston, Lawrence, Chelsea and Lynn. They face the same financial decisions the DMV content already speaks to: renting against buying in a high-cost market, protecting a small business, planning ahead, avoiding scams. JPMorganChase already serves this market with retail branches and business banking; this audience is the same audience already walking into those branches.

A few years ago, JPMorganChase worked with El Planeta to reach this same audience. In the years since, El Planeta has kept consolidating as the #1 Spanish-language local media outlet in Massachusetts, growing its digital reach, its social following and its newsletter base along the way. The same playbook already built and refined for JPMorganChase in the DMV runs here, on the same capabilities that have made El Planeta Greater Boston's leading platform for reaching Latino audiences since 2004. This proposal picks that work back up, with two ways to start below.

02What We Heard

Four years of running JPMorganChase's financial-literacy program told us what this partnership is built on. Content anchored to a real decision outperforms brand messaging, and presence sustained over quarters outperforms a campaign push. The firm has also chosen markets where it already has branches and community commitments.

Boston meets that test. JPMorganChase serves the market with retail branches and business banking, and El Planeta reaches the Latino households making those decisions every day. The content model does not need to be rebuilt for this market; it needs to be produced for it.

03The Creative

Two formats, one strategy. Both are the formats already running for JPMorganChase in the DMV, produced by the El Planeta team for a Boston audience.

Lo Nuestro Boston

A season profiling Boston-area Latino small-business owners: restaurant owners, salon owners, contractors, the businesses the community already knows. Nine episodes over roughly three months, with JPMorganChase as sole title sponsor.

Branded Content Waves

Each wave is built around a real financial decision a Boston Latino household is facing: renting against buying in a high-cost market, protecting a small business, planning for a child's education, avoiding scams. Espacio writes and produces every asset, continuing the format that has run since 2023. Topics and timing are JPMorganChase's to set.

04Distribution, Targeting and Testing

Where it runs

Every wave and every Lo Nuestro episode runs across the full El Planeta ecosystem:

How we target

El Planeta's first-party audience, with a focus on entrepreneurs

Every asset publishes to El Planeta's own Massachusetts Latino audience first, then extends with paid distribution built from that same audience, refined toward the people JPMorganChase cares most about: entrepreneurs, small-business owners, and anyone already showing interest in financial topics. Because El Planeta's production rates run below El Tiempo Latino's, a larger share of the same budget goes into that paid layer, which is why the guaranteed digital delivery per wave is higher here than in the DMV.

How we test and optimize

Each wave tests which message resonates: the topic, the framing, the call to action. Results are reported at the same cadence and detail JPMorganChase already gets in the DMV, and what works in Boston is shared back against what works in Washington.

05The Offer

Two ways back in, each priced and delivered on its own. Start with one; the other stays open for a second year. Each branded content wave carries the same weight as a wave in the DMV program: (1) video reel, (1) social carousel, (2) weeks of newsletter native placement, (1) full-page print ad, and paid Meta distribution behind all of it.

Option A

Lo Nuestro Boston, Season One

  • 9 episodes over roughly 3 months, profiling Boston-area Latino small-business owners
  • Sole title sponsor with category exclusivity: the season runs as "Lo Nuestro, presentado por JPMorganChase"
  • Sponsor credit on every asset created for the season: video, print, newsletter and social
  • Guaranteed 1,200,000+ impressions across the season
$34,000
All-inclusive for the season. No additional or pass-through costs.
Option B

Branded Content Waves

  • (3) waves across the year, each built around a real financial decision
  • Produced by Espacio in the same format running in the DMV since 2023
  • Guaranteed 600,000+ impressions and 30,000+ video views
$34,000
All-inclusive for the year. No additional or pass-through costs.

Both options are priced at rate card, with no premium for entering a second market. Lo Nuestro Boston carries the same scope and delivery commitment as a Lo Nuestro season in the DMV. Guaranteed figures are digital only, measured in Meta/Instagram Insights and El Planeta's newsletter platform; the print ad in each wave is included in the package and is not counted toward the guarantee.

06Timeline (Preliminary)

Dates below are illustrative; JPMorganChase can choose different months at kickoff

WhenWhat happens
Oct – Nov 2026Scope signed. This window protects the production calendar below.
December 2026Kickoff. Content plan and the calendar agreed with the El Planeta team.
